Monday 2 August - Childrens’ Flag Exhibition
Come along to the Grand Pavilion to see the beautiful display of flags that local children have made, working with our festival artists. Exhibition runs until 8 August.
Wednesday 4 August - Art Workshops
10-11am - 2-D: A creative, messy and fun drawing and painting workshop with a professional artist on the theme of Sea Furniture. Suitable for ages 2+ (Children must be accompanied by an adult). Please wear suitable clothing!
12-1.30pm - 3-D: Design and make your own furniture that might be found at the bottom of the sea! Bring along materials you have collected on the beach: seaweed, shells, stones, mermaids’ purses! Suitable for ages 8+
2-4pm - 4-D: Create a group art installation in our exhibition space that will remain installed for the duration of our Sea Exhibition (4-8 August). Using materials gathered from the seashore, design and create the artwork working with a local professional installationartist. Suitable for ages 14+

Wednesday 4 August at 7.30pm - Sea Exhibition Launch
Featuring local artists creating work inspired by the sea.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 8 August.
Thursday 5 August - Sea Tales Workshops
10-11am - Reading Tales: Come along to hear magical stories and adventurous poems from under the sea, with music and movement. Suitable for families and children of all ages.
11.30-12.30pm - Writing Tales: if you love making up stories and writing them down, then come along to this workshop to explore what hidden treasures lie under your sea! Suitable for ages 8-11.

Friday 6 August at 7.30pm - Film & Poetry Night
A screening of short films which were inspired by the sea, interspersed with excerpts from Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s haunting sea poem ‘The Rime of the Ancient Mariner’. Accompanied by live music and sound recordings. An evocative evening in the relaxed and informal setting of The Stage Door.

Saturday 7 August at 11am - Elizabeth Fost - Fishy Tales
A fun and entertaining hour of storytelling, puppetry and performance for children and their families. Please [click here for] further details.

Saturday 7 August at 7.30pm - Chill-Out with Live DJs
Sit back, relax with a drink and watch the sun set with some chill-out grooves in our Café Bar.

Sunday 8 August at 4-6pm - Sea Shanties
Come along and join us for a drink in our Café Bar for a traditional Sea Shanties sing-a-long.
